Auto-renewing season ticket subscription: why does the same employee appear more than once on the same invoice?

The length of the period of validity of a season ticket that is renewed automatically is always 30 days regardless of the number of days in the month in question. This is why the price of the ticket is sometimes charged twice during the same month. The date of purchase of auto-renewing season ticket subscriptions takes place always two days before the new period starts.

Example: The price of a 30-day season ticket charged on 1 March will be charged the next time on 30 March, i.e. within the same month. As a result, the invoice that will be sent in April contains two purchases. The date of purchase is 1 March 2023 and the season ticket is valid from 3 March to 1 April.
The date of purchase is 30 March 2023 and the season ticket is valid from 2 April to 1 May.

HSL Business Portal gives you access to employee-specific purchase reports that show the ticket’s period of validity and when the ticket has been charged.
