People with reduced mobility

If your mobility is impaired due to a permanent injury or chronic disease, you are entitled to a 50 percent discount on tickets, provided the following criteria are met. The discount applies to season, value, and zone extension tickets bought using your personal HSL card.

Visit a service point to have the discount entitlement added to your HSL card. Please bring your HSL card, ID document, and a completed HSL discount ticket application form. In order to be eligible for the discount, you must live permanently in the HSL area.

Permanent injuries and chronic diseases that entitle you to a discount:

• Injury of the lower limbs, back, or spinal cord, at least severe (disability category at least 11)
• Respiratory or circulatory disease impairing your mobility, at least severe (disability category at least 11)
• Brain injury or developmental disability, at least severe (disability category at least 11)
• Other mobility impairment, at least severe (disability category at least 11)

The HSL discount ticket application form can be signed by a health center, private physician, or specialist. Kirkkonummi residents can get a certificate from a health center physician or a doctor at HUS or Jorvi.
