Fast transport link from Kalasatama to Pasila

Tram 13 will take you from Kalasatama to Pasila station in 11–12 minutes. The journey time from the Nihti terminus in Sompasaari to Esterinportti in Länsi-Pasila will be 20–21 minutes.

The journey times are fast because the tram mostly runs on a dedicated lane and there are traffic signal priorities. The average speed of the trams is higher than that of the traditional central city tram services.

The average speed of central city trams is about 14km/h, while the average speed of tram 13 will be about 19–20 km/h.
