New bus routes to be introduced in Kirkkonummi on 1 January 2023

Together with bus 173, bus 171 will be the primary connection between Matinkylä Metro Station and Kirkkonummi. The route of the bus will not change but services on the route will be increased in particular at off peak times.

The former route 174Z will be replaced by route 171Z, which will run from Matinkylä along Länsiväylä to Kirkkotallintie following the route of bus 173Z. From Kirkkotallintie, the bus will continue via Gesterby and Ravalls to the Kirkkonummi Travel Centre.

In addition, route 171B will provide some feeder services to trains. The bus will run from the Gesterby turnaround via Ravalls to the Kirkkonummi Travel Centre.  

In the future, bus 172 will only operate a few services. The basic route will remain unchanged but route 172V will be withdrawn. 

Bus 173 will operate in the early morning as well as in the evening and on Sundays. The new basic route is the same as the previous route 173K, i.e. between Matinkylä and Masala, the bus will run via Sarvvikin puistotie. Route 173K will be withdrawn. A faster route 173Z will operate on weekdays from morning to early evening and on Saturdays during the daytime. At night, route 173N will run to Kamppi.  

New route 175 will run at peak times from the Matinkylä terminal via Masala to Jorvas along Piispansilta, Länsiväylä, Vanha Jorvaksentie, Sarvvikin puistotie, Sundsbergintie, Masalantie and Jorvaksentie.

In the opposite direction, bus 175V will run straight along Länsiväylä from Piispansilta to Jorvaksenkaari at peak times.  

Bus 904 will run from the Kirkkonummi Travel Centre to Kantvik following the route of school bus route 903K. On weekdays, the bus will operate a few services to supplement the services on routes 173 and 903K. On Saturdays and Sundays, the bus will run about 10am to 4pm every 60 minutes.  

There will be a minor change to the route of bus 182A in Siuntio. The bus will no longer serve the spa which has been closed down. Instead, the bus will run via Lappersintie.
