Updated on 14 January: The reopening of the tunnel has been postponed due to delays in the delivery of construction materials. The tunnel will reopen on Friday 31 January. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The work included the replacement of the underfloor defrosting and heating systems.

The new systems significantly improve the safety of the station as they prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on the floor. Previously, the buildup of snow and ice made the surface slippery during winter, leading to occasional closures of the tunnel for safety reasons.
