New bus route 906B to begin operating and timetable changes to bus routes 909 and 906 from 11 November

A new bus route, 906B, will begin operating on school days from Monday 11 November. At the same time, there will be minor changes to the timetables for bus routes 909 and 906.

Bus route 906B will begin operating between Bobäcks skola and Masala station on Monday 11 November. The new route will only run in one direction, that is, from Bobäcks skola to Masala station. The route will have one service per day, departing at 8.35am Monday through Friday on school days. The terminus of the new bus route is “Masalan asema” (Ki0248).

Passengers can use bus route 906B to interchange to a U train that leaves for Kirkkonummi on weekday mornings. The change was implemented on the basis of customer feedback. The timetable and route for the bus are already available in the Journey Planner.

At the same time, there will be minor changes to the timetables for bus routes 909, 909K and 906 in that certain school day services will be adjusted by a few minutes. The timetable changes will make it possible for bus route 906B to operate on weekday mornings.

On bus route 909, the 6.52am service from Kauhalantie will be brought forward to 6.51am and the 7.35am service from Veikkola will be brought forward to 7.32am. On bus route 909K, the 8.50am service from Myllypellontie will be rescheduled so that the new departure time is at 8.54am. On bus route 906, the 8.09am service from Kauhalantie will be brought forward to 8.06am. The changes to the departure times will also have an effect on when the buses arrive at each terminus.
