The stop served by westbound buses will be closed. This will have an effect on bus route 8X towards Jätkäsaari and bus route 70 towards Kamppi. The nearest stops that will remain in use are the previous stop “Ooppera” (H2185) on Helsinginkatu and the next stop “Töölöntori” (H1330) on Runeberginkatu.
Eastbound buses will begin serving the “Ooppera” (H2062) stop on Helsinginkatu, on the other side of the Mannerheimintie junction. The stop has not been served by buses since the previous changes to traffic arrangements. However, bus route 8X towards Vallila and bus route 70 towards Malmi will again start serving the stop.
The changes are caused by street work related to the Mannerheimintie renovation project at the Opera junction.
