Updated on 24 September: Bus 15X will run between Alberganesplanadi and Ilkantie also on 1 October due to the delay in the track maintenance work.
The changes to the light rail services will start at 9pm and last until the end of service every day of the week apart from Friday. On Fridays after 9pm, the light rail will operate on its entire route.

How to use replacement bus 15X
You can board the replacement bus also through the middle doors, just like the light rail. You do not need to show your valid ticket to the driver or card reader. Card readers are only at the front door. When you are at a stop and see the bus approaching, put your hand out to stop the bus.
Routes for replacement bus 15X
- From 3 to 4 August, no replacement bus service, we advise that passengers take the Metro to travel between Keilaniemi and Aalto University
- From 5 to 22 August, bus 15X will run between Oulunkylän tori (Oulunkylä Square) and Itäkeskus
- From 24 August to 8 September, bus 15X will run between Vihdintie and Oulunkylän tori
- From 9 to 19 September, and 1 October, bus 15X will run between Alberganesplanadi and Ilkantie
- From 21 to 30 September, bus 15X will run between Keilaniemi and Leppävaara
From 3 to 4 August, no replacement bus service, we advise that passengers take the Metro to travel between Keilaniemi and Aalto University
Light rail 15 will operate as usual between Aalto University and Itäkeskus.
The replacement bus will not operate. Light rail 15 will run between Aalto University and Itäkeskus. The Metro operates between Aalto University and Keilaniemi.
From 5 to 22 August, bus 15X will run between Oulunkylän tori (Oulunkylä Square) and Itäkeskus
Light rail 15 will operate as usual between Keilaniemi and Oulunkylä station.
Replacement bus 15X will mostly follow the route of light rail 15. However, the bus will not serve the "Viikinmäki", "Veräjämäki" and "Oulunkylän asema" stops. Instead, the bus will run via Viikintie, Koskelantie, Kunnalliskodintie and Oulunkyläntie.
In Oulunkylä, you can change to the light rail in the direction of Keilaniemi. The “Oulunkylän tori” (H3665) terminus served by bus 15X is about 250 meters from the “Oulunkylän keskusta” light rail stop.
In Itäkeskus, the replacement bus will depart from bay 13.

Light rail 15 will operate as usual between Keilaniemi and Vihdintie and between Oulunkylä station and Itäkeskus.
The route of bus 15X is otherwise similar to that of the light rail, but the bus will run via Siltavoudintie when arriving in Oulunkylä. The bus stops are located near the light rail stops.
Interchanging between the light rail and the bus is most convenient at the “Vihdintie” stops which are served by both the light rail in the direction of Keilaniemi and by bus 15X in the direction of Oulunkylä. When heading east, we advise that passengers change between the light rail and the bus in Oulunkylä, where the light rail will depart from the “Oulunkylän asema” stop in the direction of Itäkeskus and bus 15X from the “Oulunkylän tori” stop (H3665), located on the other side of the train tracks.

Light rail 15 will operate as usual between Keilaniemi and Alberganesplanadi and between Vihdintie and Itäkeskus.
Replacement bus 15X will mostly follow the route of light rail 15. However, in Vermo, the bus will not serve the “Ravitie” stops. Instead, the bus will run to Perkkaantie via Pitäjänmäentie and Turuntie. In Leppävaara, the bus will serve the temporary “Linnatullinkatu” stops in Hevosenkenkä.
Interchanging between the light rail and the bus is most convenient at the “Alberganesplanadi” stops which are served by both the light rail in the direction of Keilaniemi and by bus 15X in the direction of Ilkantie. When heading east, we recommend that you change between the light rail and the bus at the “Huopalahden asema” or “Ilkantie” stops. These stops are served by the light rail in the direction of Itäkeskus and by bus 15X in the direction of Leppävaara and Alberganesplanadi.

Light rail 15 will operate as usual between Leppävaara station and Itäkeskus.
The replacement bus will run along Ring I between Leppävaara and Maari, from where the bus will continue via Tekniikantie and Vuorimiehentie to Aalto University, Otaranta and Keilaniemi.
The bus will serve the stops at Leppävaara station and depart from bay 42 when arriving at the station and from bay 41 when heading towards Keilaniemi. The stops are located on Ring I, on the bridge over the train tracks. The distance between the bus stops and the light rail stops in the direction of Itäkeskus is approximately 300 meters.
