Updated on 29 May: Tram 7 will resume its normal route on Monday 3 June.
The change is due to a switch control failure. Tram routes 2 and 5 will also continue to be diverted until the switch control system has been fixed.
Diversion route of tram 7 from 6 May
- Tram 7 runs in the direction of Pasila and Meilahti via Ylioppilastalo. The tram will not serve the Mikonkatu and Central Railway Station stops. The tram will resume its normal route on Monday 3 June.
Diversion route of trams 2 and 5 from 12 December 2023
- Tram 2 runs to the Olympia Terminal via Ylioppilastalo. The tram does not serve the Mikonkatu and Central Railway Station stops. In the other direction, i.e. towards Pasila and Messukeskus, the tram follows its normal route. The diversion will remain in place until further notice.
- Tram 5 serves the stop located on the station side of the street at the Central Railway Station.
