Crowning of Manta on Kansalaistori on 30 April

The crowning of the statue Manta will this year take place on Kansalaistori on Tuesday 30 April. Due to the ceremony, Töölönlahdenkatu and Mannerheimintie between Runeberginkatu–Arkadiankatu will be closed to motor vehicle traffic between 4pm and 8pm. Bus routes that serve Elielinaukio and U line buses that run to Kamppi via Mannerheimintie will be diverted approximately between 3.45pm and 8pm.

Bus route 40 will run in both directions via Topeliuksenkatu, Runeberginkatu and Arkadiankatu. The bus will use the “Postitalo” stop, bay 55 (H2038), on Postikatu as its departure stop and terminus.

Bus routes 200 and 300 will run via Topeliuksenkatu and Runeberginkatu to Kamppi bus terminal. Bus 200 will depart from bay 52 (H2152) and bus 300 from bay 46 (H1246).

Bus routes 321, 345 and 431/B will run via Topeliuksenkatu and Runeberginkatu to Fredrikinkatu. The buses will use the “Kamppi (M)” stop, bay 75 (H1222), as their drop-off stop. Viewed in the direction of travel, the departure stop is located before the “Kamppi” (M) stop, bay 76 (H1237).

All the above-mentioned bus routes will serve the following stops along the diversion routes: “Hanken” (H1305 and H1163), “Apollonkatu” (H1307 and H1308), “Töölöntori” (H1309 and H1312), “Töölön kirjasto” (H1346 and H1315), “Kirjailijanpuisto” (H1318 and H1319) and “Töölöntulli” (H1326 and H1327).

U line buses 280, 346, 455/A, 457, 465 and 848 will run in both directions via Topeliuksenkatu and Runeberginkatu. The buses will serve the stops along their diversion route.
