Terminus of bus routes 73 and 74 to be relocated from Haniemi to Karhupuisto on 8 January

The terminus of bus routes 73 and 74 will be temporarily relocated from Hakaniemi to Agricolankatu in Karhupuisto on 8 January 2024. The buses will not serve the "Hakaniemi" and "Haapaniemi" stops.

Buses 73 and 74 will run from Sörnäinen to Karhupuisto and in the other direction via Helsinginkatu from Monday 8 January 2024. The buses will not serve the "Hakaniemi" (H2063, H2401, H2402) and "Haapaniemi" (H2406, H2407) stops. In Sörnäinen, the buses will use a temporary bus stop next to entrance C to the metro station in the direction to Karhupuisto. You can also change to trams 1, 6, 7 and 8 in Sörnäinen.

The changes are due to the construction of the Kruunusillat bridges. Due to the works, Siltasaarenkatu will be closed to northbound traffic between John Stenbergin ranta and Hakaniemenranta. Norhtbound traffic from Pitkäsilta will be diverted via John Stenbergin ranta, where the terminus of buses 73 and 74 is currently located. As Hakaniemen torikatu cannot accommodate all buses terminating in Hakaniemi, the terminus of bus routes 73 and 74 will be temporarily moved from Hakaniemi to Karhupuisto. The arrrangement is expected to remain in place until late 2025.
