The new bus bay numbering system will be as follows:
- Bus bays 12–17 are located on the south side of the Itäkeskus bus terminal, i.e. on the Itäväylä side of the terminal. These bays are used by buses 80, 82, 92, 97, 98, 500, 550, 802 and 805.
- Bus bays 21–28 are on the north side or Turunlinnantie side of the terminal. These bays are used by buses 54, 94, 95, 561, 562, 831, 841, 842, 843 and 844.
- The bus bays on Itäväylä are numbered 41 and 42. They are used by nights buses which do not call at the bus terminal, i.e. buses 90A, 90N and 96N.
- The platforms for light rail line 15 on the west side of Marjaniementie, will be numbered 31 and 32.
The bay numbers will also be added on the signs at the metro station to make it easier to find the right bus stop or light rail stop, for example, when changing from the metro to bus.
