Tram route 2 will be diverted to run to Pikku Huopalahti at night from the night of Friday 1 September to the night of Thursday 8 September as well as from the night of Monday 11 September to the night of 14 September. The tram will not serve Pasila and Ilmala. The tram will be diverted in both directions.
Instead of Pasila and Ilmala, the tram will serve Pikku Huopalahti. The following stops will not be served:
- Kansaneläkelaitos (H0641)
- Auroran sairaala (H0640 and H0639)
- Eläintarha (H0601 and H0602)
- Palkkatilanportti (H0629 and H0630)
- Esterinportti (H0610 and H0609)
- Eevanmäki (H0625 and H0624)
- Uutiskatu (H0627 and H0626)
- Ilmalantori (H0623 and H0622)
In Meilahti and Pikku Huopalahti, tram 2 will follow the route of tram 10 and serve the stops along the route. In other words, the tram will run from its normal route via Mannerheimintie to Korppaanmäentie.
The diversion is due to works on overhead wires and at stops on Pasilankatu.
