Additionally, bus 111 will be rerouted to run from Tapiola to Matinkylä along the following route: Matinkylä – Haukilahti – Westend – Tapiola – Otaniemi. Extending the West Metro has improved transport links from Hyljelahti (Finnoo) especially to Tapiola, which has changed the travel needs of passengers using route 111.
As a replacement, route 533 will continue to Hyljelahti along the following route: Hyljelahti-Matinkylä (M)-Kauniainen-Järvenperä. The route change for bus 533 will improve crosstown transport links from Hyljelahti and Finnoo to e.g. Olari and Suurpelto. The change will also improve transport links to the Espoo International School and the coastal line.
The changes are part of a larger project to modify bus routes in Leppävaara and Tapiola.
