School bus routes in Sipoo to serve only designated bus stops from Monday 14 August

From Monday 14 August, the school buses in Sipoo will only serve designated bus stops along their route. The initiative for the change came from the traffic operator Pohjolan Liikenne that provides bus services in the area. The idea is to provide both drivers and passengers with clearer information as to where their bus will stop.

Until now, it has been possible for the buses serving Sipoo to stop in places that are not specifically designated on the route in question. You can easily find the stops that the bus routes use on the Journey Planner map. In addition, you can also activate location services on your phone and give your consent to the sharing of location data in the Journey Planner. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the stopping points and bus routes in advance.

In particular, the change concerns bus routes 982, 984, 984K, 992, 993, 993K and 996 as well as their stopping points on the following roads: Talmantie, Hindsbyntie, Immersbyntie, Massbyntie, Eriksnäsintie, Boxintie, Gesterbyntie, Kitöntie and Spjutsundintie.
