Route 555 , Keilaniemi (M)-Aalto-yliopisto (M)-Leppävaara-Martinlaakso, will be withdrawn on 14 August. In the future, you can travel from Leppävaara to Keilaniemi with trunk bus 550, whose terminus will be moved from Westendinasema to Keilaniemi. The changes are made in preparation for the launching of the light rail 15.
You can travel from Leppävaara to Myyrmäki with the new trunk bus route 520. Furthermore, route 522, Leppävaara-Hämevaara-Pähkinärinne-Vantaankoski, will continue to provide a service from Leppävaara to Hämevaara. Route 522 will also get a shorter route version 522B, Leppävaara-Hämevaara. Moreover, the route of bus 335 will change: from autumn 2023, the bus will serve the “Viikatetie” stops in southern Hämevaara, thus providing passengers with new transport links.
In addition to the above-mentioned routes, a new trunk bus route, 530, will provide services from Hämevaara in the direction of Myyrmäki, Espoon keskus and Matinkylä from 14 August.
The changes are part of a larger project to modify bus routes in Leppävaara and Tapiola.
