Reduced service continues on Friday 15 January due to difficult traffic conditions. The plunging temperatures and snow cause problems with tracks and the rolling stock.
By reducing services, we aim to ensure effective operation of those services that are running.
A trains on Thursday 14 and on Friday 15 January
A trains run every 20 minutes. In other words, at peak times, every other A train is cancelled. Between 6am and 8pm, trains are longer than usual.
From Helsinki,
- the 5.48am A train runs
- between 6.13am and 9.13am as well as between 2.33pm and 6.13pm, only trains departing 3, 23 and 43 past the hour run
- between 9.23am and 2.23pm as well as between 6.33pm and 10.33pm, a normal service operates
From Leppävaara,
- between 6.16am and 9.36am as well as between 2.56pm and 6.36pm, only trains departing at 6, 26 and 46 minutes past the hour operate
- between 9.46am and 2.46pm as well as between 6.56pm and 10.56pm, a normal service operates
K trains on Thursday 14 January and on Friday 15 January
K trains run every 20 minutes, i.e. every other K train is cancelled. Between 9am and 2pm, trains are longer than usual.
From Helsinki,
- between 6.11am and 6.01pm, only K trains departing at 1, 21 and 41 minutes past the hour operate
- a normal service operates at other times
From Kerava,
- between 6.41am and 6.31pm, only K trains departing at 11, 31 and 51 minutes past the hour operate
- a normal service operates at other times
