In case you receive an offer promoting free or suspiciously affordable journeys with the HSL card, do not reply to the message or give out any of your personal information. No such campaign is currently being organized by HSL or any other organization.
You can also tell that you are dealing with a fraudulent site if the site refers to the HSL card as “kuljetuskortti” in Finnish and invites you to take part in a prize draw of 500 of such cards.

Scam messages offering free or suspiciously affordable journeys with the HSL card have been circulating on social media. The messages have been sent under the name of “Uudenmaan maakunnan joukkoliikennekortti”. The fraudulent messages have also advertised a chance to win a free travel card in a prize draw supposedly organized by HSL. In addition, there have been scam email messages that claim to offer HSL card holders a discount on season tickets for three months.
