No replacement services will be provided during the work stoppage. We advise people who normally use the Metro or tram services to, for example, ridepool or cycle, where possible.
Other public transport services will run as usual but especially buses running along the metro line may be crowded. A list of alternative transport links by station is available below. Metro and tram services are removed from the Journey Planner's route suggestions on the early morning of Thursday.
The drivers will return to work on Saturday 18 September from 4am. A normal Saturday service will operate.

Alternative transport links by metro station
Bus operators in the area have managed to arrange some tens of extra buses and drivers. This allows us to add services on routes operating along Länsiväylä between Espoo and Kamppi as well as on crosstown bus routes in East Helsinki.
