Changes to bus services in Laajasalo

Once the new trams begin operating, there will be changes to bus service frequency and bus routes in Laajasalo, but we continue to guarantee frequent and comprehensive services from Laajasalo to Herttoniemi Metro Station.

The Executive Board of HSL approved the route network plan for Laajasalo in 2022. The plan was created based on a situation in which trams serve Laajasalo.

Key changes:

  • New routes for buses 86 and 88
  • Increased service frequency for buses 85 and 86 during daytime
  • New bus routes 87, 808 and 809 will begin operating
  • Bus routes 84 and 86N will be withdrawn

Diversions due to construction work

The construction work carried out in connection with the project will also cause changes to other public transport services. On our website at HSL.fi, you’ll always find up-to-date information on any possible changes to public transport services. To learn more about the project, visit kruunusillat.fi.
