Lost property office

If you have lost something on a bus, tram, metro, commuter train, or Suomenlinna ferry, or left an item in a city bike's basket, contact Lost & Found Finland:

 

Enquiries by phone and via the online form are subject to a charge. The current price list is available on the website of Lost & Found Finland.

 

You can also enquire about your lost property by visiting the Lost & Found Finland office during its opening hours:

 

  • The office is in the basement of the West Wing (Kauppakuja). The street address is Elielinaukio 3. 
  • Access to the basement is via the stairs or the lift opposite VR’s service point. Lost & Found Finland is in the same corridor as public toilets and VR storage lockers.
  • The office is open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and on Saturdays 10am to 4pm. The office is closed on Sundays.

Enquiring about lost property at the office is free of charge.

 

As it may take a day or two for your lost item to be found and received by the lost property office, we advise you to wait two days before contacting the office.

 

HSL cards lost before 1 October 2024

 

If you have lost your HSL card before 1 October 2024, it may be at HSL’s service point. The card will be stored there for three (3) months, after which it will be deactivated. You can enquire about your lost HSL card by calling +358 9 4766 4000. We do not refund any season tickets or the value remaining on a deactivated card.

 

HSL cards lost after 1 October 2024 will be delivered to Lost & Found Finland in the same way as other lost and found items.
